Itchio has posted an official statement regarding their recent move to delete adult games/de-index them here:

After reading this update posted by itchio, I believe the probability of my account/games being deleted is extremely likely. I will post more information tomorrow on my socials regarding my next steps as it is quite late for me right now and I have work soon. This is very disheartening news.

My recommendation to anyone reading this: if you have any favorite adult nsfw games you enjoy on itchio, I recommend downloading them right now and keeping them saved in case they are deleted. Users are reporting that if a game is deleted, even if you paid for it, it will be removed permanently from your game library on itchio and they are unable to re-download the game at all.

Some bad news regarding Itch.io recently is that the website seems to be shadow-banning and even deleting adult/nsfw games without warning.

In the wake of what has occurred with Steam recently deleting adult games due to threats from political groups and payment processors, this appears to be a sign that Itchio may be following in the footsteps of Steam now.

Currently, as of writing this, I am unable to locate any of my games using the “adult” tag. Some NSFW creators have reported that their games have been deleted entirely with no warning, and some users have reported that they are unable to download NSFW games they have previously purchased/downloaded in the past.

As long as Itchio allows it, I will remain on Itchio for now until any (official) news comes out about this. Itchio has currently not released any official statements regarding this recent occurrence. However, in the event that my account or my games are deleted, here is everywhere on the internet that I can be found:

Generally, I tend to only post to social media when I have news about new updates regarding my games; however, if my account/games are removed from Itchio, I will be keeping all of my social accounts updated regarding my next steps to ensure that everyone can keep access to my games freely and where I will upload my future games/updates to.

I do not plan to stop making adult otome games any time soon, regardless of what Itchio decides to do. If I have to end up making my own website, then I’ll do it!
